Members of the University of Connecticut Family Business Program gain access to a diverse network of family business owners and practitioners. However, there are also many resources and programs through the UConn School of Business that participation
in the Family Business Program offers access to, including:

Alumni Relations & Development The Family Business Program works with Alumni Relations and Development to help School of Business Alumni network and become engaged in the school's future.

Business Placement Center
The Family Business Program and Business Placement Center work together to facilitate placement of undergraduate business students for entry-level positions or graduating MBA students for mid-level to senior-level positions.



Center for International Business Education & Research (CIBER)
The Family Business Program works to help fulfill CIBER’s mandate of increasing the competitiveness of US businesses in the global marketplace. Together, the Family Business Program and CIBER work to develop the Program for International Exploration, Collaboration, and Education (PIECE).



Center for Real Estate and Urban Economic Studies (CREUES)
The Family Business Program works the Center for Real Estate and Urban Economic Studies, which provides professional and practical assessment of real estate issues in Connecticut, the region, and the nation through education, research, and outreach.



Connecticut Information Technology Institute (CITI)
The Family Business Program and CITI help family firms meet their IT challenges. Since 1998, CITI has built and grown an information technology powerhouse to address the needs of key managers and users of information technology.



Management and Engineering for Manufacturing (MEM)
The Family Business Program works closely with manufacturers to help them gain access to MEM students interested in internships and careers in manufacturing.



MBA Programs
The Family Business Program works with colleagues in the School of Business to distribute information and facilitate referrals to the School of Business MBA Programs.

UConn’s MBA Program is designed to equip managers with the tools and skills necessary to successfully negotiate and overcome obstacles brought on by an increasingly complex and global business environment. UConn’s MBA Program provides a solid foundation of business knowledge and a thorough understanding of the global context which managers need to make well-informed and responsible decisions. UConn offers the MBA Program full-time (Storrs), part-time (Hartford, Stamford and Waterbury), and on an accelerated basis through the Executive MBA Program (Hartford & Stamford).


 
 




Resources School of Business Resources
