Internship Registration:

The MIS Summer Internship program (OPIM 4891, 6 credits) fulfils the Applications Area of your Plan of Study, and is an excellent resume builder for landing a job at the end of your senior year. Most students do a credit internship as a stepping stone to a full-time job search process.

This is a Summer Registration course. After you are sure where you'll be interning, contact us to register for the 6 credit OPIM 4891 internship. Check Timelines (above) for getting permission numbers.

Obtain a PeopleSoft permission number from Prof. Bhattacharjee before registration in OPIM 289. Email Prof. Bhattacharjee with your proposed internship job description to receive a Peoplesoft Permission number. You can register online through Peoplesoft. This is listed as a Summer Session 4 course, for 6 credits.

For Summer 2008, use Summer Session 4, Course: OPIM 4891, Class No: 1042, Campus: Storrs, Credits: 6. Registration deadline is May 19, 2008.

Registration is mandatory if you obtained the position through our program.
